Can I get travel insurance if I have a Chronic Illness?
Hey,I was wondering does anyone know of any insurance companies that will insure someone with a chronic illness for traveling abroad?Health insurance is really important, I plan to be taking a 1 month trip to New Zealand next year which I've already had to postpone because I fell ill with Ulcerative Colitis an incurable autoimmune disease, similar to Crohn's Disease Is It possible to still get travel insurance? because every policy I go for, I read the terms and it says that the policy is void if you have any history of chronic illness or if you've been ill in the last 6 months.Without this insurance, I can't take my trip because if I happened to have a flare up in the month that I'm there, which is very likely, I won't be covered. so if anyone could help me out that would be awesome
Law question regarding travel insurance?
Hi,Around 3 1 2 years ago I went to Spain on holiday, I purchased travel insurance from a company before I went. Whilst there I had my ear bit by some idiot and had to go to hospital who stitched it up. I gave them all my insurance details, and never heard anything about it until a couple of weeks ago. A company working on behalf of the hospital have sent me a letter to recover the money, with all the details from my hospital visit, my insurance details that I gave them ect.I rang my insurance company up who have said that nobody has ever got in touch regarding my insurance, and that the time to claim is 28 days. I've looked at reviews of the company and they dont sound like a scam or anything.Am i right in telling this company chasing me that its not my fault that they call my insurance and sort it out? If they have the details of the insurance I gave to the hopsital but nothing to say why they didnt ring it, surely im right?Thanks,Danthey got me to fill a form in with all my insurance details as they said they sort that out

Visa Debit payments to a doorstep loan company show on my bank statement as 'AXA travel insurance' is it legal?
I don't even have ANY sort of travel insurance with AXA, ive contacted the company provident and they say their aware of the error and will look in to it, that was over 2months ago, so every time i make a payment over the phone to them it shows on my bank statement as the insurance mentioned, surely it should have the correct description as bank statements are important documents used for many reason such as proof for inland rev,earning expenses etc..Ive contacted my bank and they just said contact the company..Is this legal? can they do this?Thanks for the answer but how are they recording it correctly? i'm paying a loan to Povident, and it looks like im paying AXA Travel insurance two totaly different companies Thanks GK... no im not suing anyone, im mealy puzzled as to why they are doing this and asking is it legal for them to so as money's involved, its like paying for fuel at a Shell garage with your Visa card and it showing as shopping from Tesco store on your statement.

I have a health insurance plan that covers me overseas in ANY country at ANY hotel. What would be the benefit of adding medical travel insurance, if any? Hi, i'm going to Thailand, cambodia and Vietnam for three weeks and wondered if anyone could recommend a good travel insurance company? one of my biggest concerns is actually before i leave, i'm travelling from the North to London and am worried about missing my flight as i've booked my train tickets with plenty of time to spare but trains are notoriously bad in this country

HelloJust wondered if anyone can help with any travel insurance advice? I'm due to go to Disneyland Paris next Tuesday but my daughter has got a terrible ear infection. I have travel insurance with my Bank, Yorkshire Bank. Does anyone have any experience as to whether Travel Insurance would pay out for an ear infection. My current plan covers us for Emergency Out of Country Medical Insurance for up to 30 Days.We are planning a trip for 35 Days and were wondering if we can buy an " additional five days insurance" from a different carrier any advice would be most welcome.
