I am going to London for the first time. I want to know about some good luxurious london hotels?

What london hotels will accept 17 year olds?
Ok so for my 17th Birthday i am planning on me and 2 friends traveling up to london on our own for the weekend.I did this last year but with a family member aswell.I just dont know which hotels will let us stay as were only 17 and ive herd alot say you have to be 18. Ohh and it needs to be roughly centeral london so we can just grab the underground to harrod, covent gardens etc and the theatre.thanks

Does anyone know of any london hotels that have rooms for 5 people?
I am going to London for a couple of days with my husband and three children. We would like to stay quite centrally and will be visiting a theatre. I am having problems finding a hotel with a room that will take five people or that has interconnecting rooms. About mid range would be ideal, 3 or 4 .Any ideas anyone?

Do all London Hotels require a passport / ID to get a room even though your british and paying by credit card?
Was told at a London Hotel I could not have the room without my passport number and it was Police law never heard of this before, is this all over London?
