Ibiza Holidays Summary

Ibiza Holidays offer a variety of lively clubbing resorts and family orientated resort hotels where the nightlife is more relaxed. There really is something for everyone, but if you're an all night party animal you've come to the right place. Ibiza boasts some of the biggest and best night clubs in the world, well known for attracting the rich and famous, the young and trendy, the beautiful and the bizarre.

Ibiza holidays are non-stop fun. There is an exhilarating wealth of activities to do throughout your holiday in Ibiza. Well known for being a party island, the capital Ibiza Town kicks it all off with extraordinary cosmopolitan, vibrant bars and restaurants.

Ibiza Holidays and Ibiza really started to get a name for itself as a Spanish Mediterranean island with a difference during the 1930s, when a selection of avant garde notables such as Walter Benjamin began visiting. Ibiza, as is well documented, was adopted by the hippie generation in the late 1960s and its popularity grew.

But don't be deceived into thinking Ibiza holidays are only for the young and wild. There are many resorts which are ideal for families, and with the island benefitting from the Balearic sunshine Ibiza holidays also attract a huge family following. Hotels vary from the extremely luxurious, like the Ibiza Gran Hotel, to cheap but quality hotels or apartments. There really is accommodation here for all tastes and budgets.

Ibiza holidays have an excellent reputation for watersports with most resorts offering a wide range of activities and excellent conditions. Holidays in Ibiza offer plenty for the fashion conscious too, with excellent designer boutiques and an amazing collection of trend-setting cafes, bars and the truly extraordinary clubs.

Santa Eulalia (Santa Eularia de'es Riu) on the east coast is Ibiza's third largest tourist destination which is a long established resort particularly popular with families and couples. Its nightlife is considerably more laid back and there are some nice sandy beaches in the area such as the beautiful S’Argamassa. Santa Eulalia also has excellent restaurants, and it is considered the centre for gastronomic delights. It boasts a lovely square and a hilltop church, and there is a promenade along the beach.

San Antonio is the main resort town of the island, and is the focus for the island's legendary nightlife. You can watch the sun set into the sea, then dance into the early hours at clubs such as the infamous cafe de Mar, the Es Paradis and Eden.

Sant Joan does a great organic food market, while San Antonio and Santa Eulalia cater for the artsy crowd. However, for full on fashion-mag chic you need to head to the capital, Ibiza Town.

Clubs are open from 00.00-06.00, Club Stella Maris is a holiday resort for the entire family. With its Moorish-style architecture and fragrant setting in a pine forest, the Club is the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. Clubs such as Privilege (the worlds largest club), Space and Amnesia are considered by music lovers to be among the best clubs in the world.

On major nights buses will be run from Ibiza town out to the clubs so you don’t need to worry about transport.

Club 18-30 is still a popular option, although many young party-goers now choose the flexibility of cheap hotels and hostels in the island's towns. Those out purely for a mad time will find it far more convenient to stay nearer the towns and large resorts, which are closer to the most popular clubs and bars, as this will minimise your transport costs.

Ibiza Holidays have much to offer both families and clubbing party animals.
